Lisa Yuskavage (at David Zwirner, through June 13) is an American artist who lives and works in New York City. She is known for her figurative paintings, in which seemingly ignoble subjects are depicted with classic, historical techniques, resulting in exquisitely painted, visually paradoxical canvases.

Born in a 1944 in a tiny village in the sleepy hamlet of Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, Shri Swamy had his Fine Arts training from his father, Shri V. Venkateswarlu, an eminent Artist. He has passed Higher Grade in Free Hand Out line, Model Drawing, Painting, and Interior decoration. Shri Swamy has settled in Hyderabad for the last four decades. More
