George Louis Poilleux Saint-Ange was a French painter born June 20, 1853 in Paris and died in 1911 at the age of 58 years.

He was a member of the French School and student of Isidore Pils , being influenced by his style. Poilleux Sant'Angelo is oriented on military painting , the history of painting and some religious scenes. Some of these works are held by the Louvre 2 , and many others are currently owned by the state or museum 3 . Poileux Saint-Ange was present at the Salon of painting and sculpture from 1879 to 1901.
